6" Reflector Trims (CFL)

Total Recessed Lighting offers 6" diameter CA Title 24 Energy Code and Energy Star compliant fluorescent recessed lighting reflector trims. Reflector trims have a cone surrounding the lamp that is shiny in order to reflect more light down and out of the recessed fixture. Fluorescent lighting is perfect for providing an abundance of light with low heat and high energy efficiency. These 6" fluorescent recessed lighting reflector trims are an economically ideal choice for accent lighting in bathrooms, kitchens and anywhere where recessed trims are being used for dramatic down lighting in a recessed lighting system. The trims use a 26 watt 4 pin fluorescent bulb. We recommend using the 27K for general home use as it is a warmer light and the 35K or 41K for kitchens and showers. Need assistance? There are a lot of considerations that need to get weighed in before making a decision on the bulb used for any particular application. Such as, the wattage, lumens, color rendering index (CRI) in conjunction to what is being lit and what fixture is being used. To find out more about what some these considerations are and what it means to you, check out this blog article. If you think a higher wattage means a brighter bulb, then you certainly need to read the article-you will find it helpful.
