One of the main reasons with like this is that is a very powerful LED light source but diffused. We find this is a great affordable LED Module for a number of applications. Use it where you need a lot of light, like in your kitchen, large walk in closet or office. You get the idea. The Module does have a very wide beam spread of about 110 degrees so it will spread out the light. In a word, it is bright 1200 Lumens, one of our brightest. At 27K it is a warm color temperature, good for a home where you do not want an ultra white light source to ruin the mood or make your rooms like like an airport waiting area. The LED Module fits all kinds of both 5"and 6" recessed cans. It does require torsion bar clips for cans that do not have them. We have a video on how to put them in and they are included in the box. Make sure you are aware of the process and have seen our video on hard to fit recessed cans, old and unusal recessed cans. We offer a video and a web page for your reference.
