I struggled finding this replacement part as Home Depot no longer carries this part. Very disappointed with Home Depot; however elated with Total Recessed Lighting. After reviewing the online and video information that explains how this differs from the the 4” and 6” lighting socket, I knew this was exact item I required to make the repair. (Posted on 7/4/2023)

Removed ballasts and 4 pin CFL sockets with these so that I could use LED bulbs. Worked great.
Wish they came with the clips that hold the heat sensor at the top of the can came with these. (Posted on 2/14/2019)

This part was exactly what I needed to swap out my GX24Q2 4 pin socket in Halo 5in cans. The CFL's were good, but getting tired of the warmup time. I've also had to replace a ballast. Since I have a lot of them, not interested in changing out anymore. Now I put in these sockets and pigtails with Cree LED's that are enclosed fixture compatible. (Posted on 1/22/2019)

i had a hard time finding a replacement socket for my recessed light fixture and total recessed lighting came through with an exact match. i hesitated to buy but a sales associate made it more affordable so i sincerely appreciate that.
