These were a bit too thick and would not let my recessed kit trim sit flush with the ceiling.... also slightly larger than the specific trim

I needed to seal my bathrooms with showers so humidity could not get into the attic and cause condensation moisture problems.. These just slipped right on without totally removing the the metal can light rims. The thicker foam seal did the job. (Posted on 5/13/2019)

Replaced my flood lights to recessed lights for better lighting, but also to help seal off the fixtures. I have the same fixtures inside and out, and wasps constantly build nest inside the fixtures. The foam gasket helps seal the outside fixtures and insulate the inside fixtures. The gaskets were just a bit too large, so I cut a small pie wedge (about 3/4 inch) out and taped the edges; that made a perfect fit. (Posted on 11/28/2018)

We purchased these foam gaskets to insulate our new LED retrofit can lights. We have a new attic fan and we were getting a lot of blow back from the attic through all the can lights. The gaskets were a tiny bit wide for our lights but it was easy to trim them with scissors to fit our lights. No more air leaking! Fast shipping. Thank you for having these available. While replacing old canned recessed lights with Torchstar airtight we discovered that the prior install was sloppy, leaving visible marks & cuts on ceiling. These good rings covered those marks and made the Torchstar recessed lights more airtight. These were easy to trim to fit and solved the problem. We just moved into an older home that had 20+ old pot lights that had old foam gaskets that fell apart when we took them down for cleaning. I would have given this product 6 stars but it was just a tiny bit larger in diameter then I needed. (1/8" to 1/4"). I used it anyway and it kind of created a 3D relief around the trim ring. (Posted on 6/18/2018)

Upon first sight of gaskets, they seemed to small inside diameter. Outside correct compared to original. Yet the extra inside material tucked inside and up into ceiling. I painted ceiling let dry for couple weeks with buckets in down position. Now it looks great with new better than original gaskets (Posted on 4/17/2018)
